Chevrolet gives diapers to 'Cobalt baby'

Chevrolet has announced that it will be giving a year's supply of diapers to Amanda McBride, the Minnesota woman who gave birth while driving her Chevy Cobalt.
According to The Detroit Free Press, last week, McBride, after suddenly going into labour at work, climbed into her 2005 Cobalt and headed to the hospital. Her boyfriend, who cannot drive due to a seizure problem, was in the passenger seat, when McBride told him to grab the wheel. She actually had the baby and continued working the pedals all the way to the North County Regional Hospital.
In addition to diapers, Chevrolet is set to give McBride other supplies, including a pair of child seats and a stroller.
Said Chevrolet marketing director Margaret Brooks: "We knew the Cobalt was designed to deliver its occupants safely, but never did we expect a delivery quite like this."
