Hey There Doc
It's been quite a while since I have posted. Hope All is well with you.
My self I have over come my depression, had my gastric bypass surgery lost 123 lbs in 6 months this body image change really plays a lot of head games too, this surgery is far from the easy way out.
Still trying to deal with my agoraphobia.
I leave my home with my safe person but alone just doesn't cut it for me.
I have jumped through a lot of hurdles this past year, I am now able to concentrate on reading a book now.
This past few weeks I have been able to allow music back into my life and enjoying it big time.
I have not dealt with my postramatic stress disorder yet, I do believe this is what is keeping me stuck with my agoraphobia. I talked to my Psych Dr. about looking deeper into it but he says I just need to try to keep exposing myself to the outside world by myself to get through it.
What is your opinion on this.
Should I not be dealing with my trauma of my past to move forward?
I have been searching for some kind of support group in Nepean for Agoraphobia even self help would be wonderful, but no luck thus far.
Any hoot sorry for rambling
