I have done a lot of research on the internet about bi-polar manic depression. It is amazing how many famous people have some type of depression. Most of the people I am going to list are bi-polar.

Dick Cavett underwent electroshock therapy to help him.
Cledus Judd, a comedy country music singer, released a CD called, "Bi-polar and Proud."
Martin Lawrence, Robert Downey Jr., Ben Stiller, Jean Claude Van Damme, Jonathan Winters, Charley Pride, Buzz Aldrin, and Thomas Jefferson also experience depression. Patty Duke wrote a book about her depression and she won an Oscar at the age of 16. Mariette Hartley became an Advocate for depression. I've always thought it would be interesting to travel and tell other people the story of my illness.

We are not alone. So many people live with depression. We have to learn how to overcome it because it will be with us for the rest of our lives.
