DBT Self-Help App for the iPhone or iPod

DBT Self-help is a tool that helps you manage overwhelming emotions, break destructive impulsive behaviors, navigate relationships and cultivate mindfulness. It contains skill descriptions complete with rationale and practice tips that will enable you to develop and practice the needed skills.

The app mentioned above is on sale until the end of 2011. So it is now "only" $6.99.

More interestingly, BehavioralTech, the non-profit company started by Marsha Linehan, says they will be coming out soon with their own DBT skills app for both iPhone and Android. They do not mention what the cost will be or when it will be released. So I will post back when it is released.
