Delusions of abuse

is it possible to have delusions that last years and years even when medicated
I ask because i think i been have delusions of abuse ...most of the memories i do have of the abuse is from so called flashbacks
I think these have been hallucinations of so called abuse
What i do remember clearly about my childhood that it was happy and the people who was meant to have done the abuse was never around then
i have been medicated for a few years now and i wonder if this is possible

I was going to bring this up to a psych tomorrow but its not my usual psych so am a little but hesitate of bring it up

It would be best to bring this up with your psychiatrist, Katz. Even if it is not your regular psychiatrist, presumably he will have access to your file and can make a note in your file for when you see your regular psychiatrist again.
