Thank you for this. It has taken me 7 years to make the adjustment after losing my Mom. People kept telling me that I should be over her at year 2 and up.

I do not think there is a timeline for grief, no. If someone is part of your heart, they will always be there. But I also have my individual understanding of life/death and spirituality. I just do not believe people completely die, especially good people. Part of them will always be present through the energy of love and positivism they left in the hearts of those who loved them and still love them.
