Hi everyone. I have been reading the forum for a few weeks now and find it very helpful. I am diagnosed bipolar 2 although my psychiatrist nods very knowledgeably when I describe hypomanic and suicidal times. But what's in a name? I have been treated with many different medications and with ECT, most recently have been on Cymbalta and Zeldox which worked well for a while but then I started to have tremors and other signs and symptoms of Zeldox overload. It just seems that the Zeldox stopped working and I am in a bad place right now. My doctor wants to try me on Abilify and I am terrified of putting on weight. I just finished losing 30 pounds that I had gained on Lithium (which also stopped working after a while). I guess I'm just out here feeling bad and having mixed up feelings about having to try yet another drug and putting on weight again which makes me feel worse.
