Hi,

I'm starting to put things together.


My mom had OCD, tourettes and ADHD.
My My nephew has tourettes bad.
Two grand childrens with ADHD;

If that H is hyperactivity it answers lots of questions.

Of course, you should see a physician to rule out physical causes such as thyroid disease if you haven't done so already.

Diagnosing ADHD can be a complicated matter because there are other disorders which can mimic ADHD symptoms.

Online tests for ADHD are available and checking out DSM IV is also a good idea. But the only way to be sure is through proper psychological evaluation.

Bear in mind also that one of the official criteria for diagnosis of ADHD is that it must have an impairing effect on your functioning.
