I found myself on this website as I am on an inner journey of discovery. I have started to read self help books like Toxic Parents of which I was?? one. Thankfully I have forgiving children. I have also started to read The Road Less Travelled and Beyond.
What has lead me on this journey. Well now long story short, married at 19, 4 children and remain married for 29 years. Separated, my choice 12 months but only physically left spouse 4 months. Lots of things happen on lifes journey and being thankful for these experiences for making us who are, and the lesson of holding experiences up to the light, changing perspective, measuring what and how you did things, and then find that you were indeed wanting......... can all be very confronting.
Recently on went on line to dating sites, because I was lonely. This is not really the path for me yet as I have many unresolved issues. One being, I dont really know who I am as I was always someones wife or mother, and who I was became so enmeshed, with everyone elses needs and interests.
I would like to be able to explore some of these things in a safe way, with advice, and sharing of the wealth of knowledge without putting my heart at risk.
