Logmein Free Discontinued

I have been using Logmein Free to assist several friends and family.


Sadly the following email was received today:

As of January 21, 2014, LogMeIn Free will no longer be available. To continue using remote access, you will need to purchase an account subscription of LogMeIn Pro.

When trying to login to Logmein, the banner confirms the dicontunuation, with the following message:


If you do not take action, the Free computers highlighted in your account will become inaccessible on 1/28/2014. Only 7 days left!

Thanks David! How many computers does an account allow free access to?

I'm hoping this isn't a sign of the eventual demise of Logmein, which also provides Cubby.com the service that allows synchronizing files among several computers.

I don't think there's any limit. All that's required is that the utility be installed on both computers.
