More threads by desiderata

Without some sort of interaction or communication on a regular basis, I believe, can start a spiral of mental health issues. People need people to keep their minds in check to a certain reality. Being alone too often can cause the mind to manifest into ideas and thoughts that are not true or real. Maybe the hardest thing to do is to find like-minded people to connect with.
This is all from my own feelings and observations.

What you say is true for many people. What I wanted to add was that the interaction/communication need not be face to face "in the flesh". Phone conversations, texts, social media can all be an acceptable substitute.

When spring arrives, being in nature can also help a lot.
