Thanks Steve... I'll be sure to check it out.
Have you (or anyone) by any chance read Oliver Sacks' "Migraine"?

Oliver Sacks, as you may know, is a neurologist who writes fascinating case histories. I have read most of his stuff and it is amazing. "Migraine" discusses cases of migraine patients, and has some really interesting stories about migraine-induced halucination, and many other factors. You'd really enjoy it, Steve.

I've been a long time fan of the work of Oliver Sacks! He also does work with Tourette Syndrome.

Thanks for the tip about the book on Migraine, another topic in which I have a special interest.

Steve, one of my favorite Oliver Sacks stories is "A Surgeons Life", the one about the surgeon with Tourettes.
Have you read Musicophilia yet? I haven't but I've got it on my shelf. Meaning to start, as soon as I finish the book I'm reading now.

Believed to be based on the real life story of Dr. Mort Doran, a surgeon in British Columbia...and one of my personal heroes.

How can you tell the difference between a sinus headache and a migraine?

What would you suggest when a stress headache goes to the weakest spot - my sinuses?

Migraines and sinus troubles come from my father's side of the family. I've had sinus trouble for as long as I can remember - and now cannot take anti-histamines/decongestants due to overuse when I was growing up.

It's just I've got a really bad sinus/migraine type headache today. Working things through in therapy eased it a bit, but my forehead still feels raw, and the back of my head/spine feels very tender.

I get really bad tension headaches that I feel in my orbits and I get really bad eye pain with that. I have such a pressure buildup in my eyes that every time I blink or move my eyes, I feel (and hear) what seems like little air bubbles popping (?). I've been diagnosed with migraines many times but nothing migraine-related medwise will help me. So I'm sticking with the tension headache idea. The pain gets really bad though, and the eye pain sometimes worry me because it's almost constant.
