Practicing mindfulness and acceptance is a way to begin to notice our present moment experience without getting caught up in it. We've compiled several exercises below.
The exercises below help you become more aware of thoughts, feelings, and emotions from a stance of acceptance and willingness. This was developed for people struggling with anxiety.
The exercise below is similar to the Acceptance of Thoughts and Feelings, but it asks you to invite in something difficult.
The Body Scan is typically done sitting down. It gradually draws your attention from the tips of your toes to the crown of you head.
In Leaves on a Stream, practice letting thoughts drift by.
