Please feel free to post about whatever is on your mind. We've all been teens before, some of us more recently than others (Dr. Baxter :cower:) and we'd love to help any way we can.

Thank u so much for making me feel welcome. I will start there. And I need some ways to help myself when I get really stressed. I get overwhelmed too easy.

And heres a little more about myself, I have never been an outgoing person in real. I hate crowds of people. I can be paranoid at times. I love art and want to draw more but I am un inspired. I am in home schooling now. My parents are divorced. Ummmmmmmm I can be OCD with something. I can control it for most part. Not sure what else should say about me. I do get depressed easily. For now thats all

No I have not my dad has enough stress because of my family. So never told him. And as it we are going to have very stressful night. There is mental illness in genes so yea I am 90% sure I should get help. But I dont like relying on meds. I barely even take head ache meds.

Teenanxiety,

As a young adult this would be the time for you to take control of your own health care and arrange to be seen by the physician of your choice to seek treatment.

If you are a student, there might be a student health service at your school, if not see your general practitioner and ask for a referral to a specialist who can help you. The conditions you have described are treatable and there is no reason for you to suffer symptoms that adversely affect your quality of life.

Do you have your own doctor you can call for an appointment?
