Hi, i live in ottawa and after a year on ei disability, i applied for cpp in oct 2010. i just got my first letter back turning me down, as they feel its not severe. I am appealing the decision but it seems like a long hard battle as they are able to decide all my DRs paperwork is not how they feel and by using the fact that being able to deal with people is difficult for me as part of this disability. I do not think it is easy to get by on the impossibly low income. it is simply NOT ENOUGH FOR THE BASICS. Hopefully you can find what you need
