A lot of folks have been telling me that this holiday gives them more time to be depressed about their careers: tough times, tough bosses, not knowing if the axe will fall.
I want to just remind people about a couple things. This is YOUR job, YOUR career, and that when the tables are turned in a recovery, YOU will have your choice of jobs. How did that feel for a moment? That's the attitude to remember. Because of govt. figure lag times, we only find out after the fact that we're in a recovery, and at that point, employers are searching everywhere for you talents.
So start thinking this holiday season about where YOU want to be in 2010!
