How The Forum Uses Cookies

Cookies are small text files saved by the Forum on your computer which allow us to provide certain functionality on our site, such as

  • remembering your selected user preferences for the Forum
  • being able to differentiate between old and new threads, or posts that you have not yet read
These cookies are temporary. When you manually log out of the Forum the cookies are deleted.

Account Removal and Banned Accounts

If a user who has posted on the forums wishes to leave this website, we will deactivate the account and set it so that s/he will receive no future emails of any kind from the Forum.

If you wish to have your account deleted rather than deactivated, please please contact us and we will delete your account from the database as soon as possible.

However, please note that posts will not normally be removed since this can disrupt the flow of threads and other replies to threads in which you have posted. We can also change the username/membername attached to the posts on request if the username identifies you on other websites. If one or more of these conditions applies to you, please contact us.
