10 Reasons I “Love” Freelancing

Being a freelancer is great, but just like everything else, there are certain “side-effects” that you’ll probably experience as a result.

Caution for those with no sense of humor, do not proceed.

So, here are ten things which I “love” about freelancing:

Number One:
The joy of seemingly countless revisions.

Number Two:
You are your own boss, so you have to do his job too.

Number Three:
You unplug from the Matrix, and plug into the Matrix 2.0.

Number Four:
The ability to wake up later…and sleep much later.

Number Five:
Rather than being made of 70% water, your body becomes 70% coffee.

Number Six:
Your wife constantly tells you to get a proper job.

Number Seven:
You can work in any clothes…therefore you never change.

Number Eight:
Only you and those in the Matrix 2.0 know what pwned means.

Number Nine:
Going to work means going to the garage.

Number Ten:
That lovely feeling you get when your client says “My nephew can do it”.

I love freelancing because I love working for myself, no one to treat me like sh** and I have the success or failure of the project in my own hands, I make or break the venture. That I can accept fully. I have worked for some right arogant fools whose treatment was so bad that it was better to act like a dumb ass than to be saddled with all the responibillitie and none of the power over the process, ie, large factory
