I'm Bloodphobic. Pretty much I want to do what people without Blood Phobia can do. I feel a lot better about having blood phobia but I love action movies but I can't watch a action movie with a lot of blood in it.
Some phobias are actually pretty common (spiders, snakes, mice and rats, etc.) and this is one of them.
If you think it significantly impacts on things you want to do, you could try seeing a therapist/counselor experienced in cognitive behavioral techniques including desensitization.
Well, it is worth the time and the money if it's something that's bothering you. Otherwise, look for self-help books on cognitive behavior therapy for phobias.
