Just a curious question.

When someone with Bipolar is in a manic state, can they be more pre disposed to panic attacks or psychosis episodes?

Do people with Bipolar often have panic attacks too or psychosis?

This is just curiousity, cause I do not know a lot about Bipolar.

Thanks :)

Gooid question.

Anxiety (and/or obsessive intrusive thoughts or compulsions) is not uncommon in bipolar disorder.

I don't know whether the anxiety is specific to hypomanic vs. depressive states, though.

Speaking from my own experience,
I have had panic attacks when hypo and also when depressed, for me anxiety and panic went together a lot of the time, mostly when depressed though.
