They are called Ladybirds here, I think they are the same thing, little insects with spots and nice colours

A few years ago, we had these "stinky" bugs...looked almost like a ladybug...apparently they were attracted to my birch trees. Yukky little things.

I LOVE potato bugs... we used to call them pill bugs (I think...)
We'd scare them so they'd roll up and we'd play marbles with them. (Evil bug-destroying grin)

Heh. There are days I don't want to deal with death and dying, as well. However, I can't imagine doing anything else that would be more rewarding. I guess we work with opposite ends of the spectrum, so to speak. We should consider ourselves very fortunate that we have jobs we really love.
