Hi

My name is Brenda aka BG. I lived in Ottawa for 18 years before coming to Calgary 2 years ago for work. I love it here - wouldn't dream of going back.

I am a cutter/SIer and also have dysthymia. I'd say my dysthymia is very mild - I'm kinda on meds but not really (ok - translation - I'm supposed to take them, but I never do, and seem to be functioning just fine).

Anyway, I just stumbled across this site, and found it fascinating. There is also something else I want to comment on, but I have to find the thread again first

I used to go back to Ottawa about once a month....now I try not to go back too often I'm finally settled here. I was back at Easter for a couple days, and I might go back for Thanksgiving, but truly, the west is where I belong. And I don't miss all the snow one little bit!!!!
