I've just started reading it again for the 2nd time. I'm finding it even more fascinating the 2nd time round. I last read it a year and a half ago when I was in my last days of efexor withdrawal, so it makes sense I'd 'get' it more now! :rolleyes::eek:

I am wondering if anyone else here has read it and what they thought.

[NB for those who've not read it, it's a novelisation of the development of psychiatric medicine Charcot on, and much of it is set in late 18th century asylums. It's message is asking whether insanity is the price we pay for being human..]
