but I am beginning to wonder if I have fibromyalgia. I experience a lot of weird pain all over my body for no reason that I can figure out. I suffered two very traumatic back injuries as a child which caused me pain for months and years even. I just wonder if I am overreacting to this pain or if I should ask my doctor about it. I know there aren't really any tests to prove it, but maybe she can at least listen to me whine. :(

Or maybe it's just getting older? I wonder how to tell the difference?

Agree with Dr. B. I thought I had fibro for a while too but now I'm in doubt. I've made some lifestyle changes that have helped and I need to make some more, but I totally understand the pain and fatigue that causes one to question it. Definitely worth having a chat with your doctor. Even though you can't conclusively prove fibro, you can also look at other things and make sure it's not other conditions that may resemble fibro for which there may be effective treatments.

Always good to keep your doctor in the loop of how you are feeling hun Your reg doctor can examine you and see if there are other reasons for pain
