Reminds me I about died with laughter during the close of the 2010 Olympics when (???) did the monologue on Canadians. About how we preface everything with "please" and end it with "thank you." My (American) kids looked at me and my son said: "Mum! (or maybe it was Mom .....). Now you make sense!! You aren't polite! Its just that you're from Canada!"

I know my American friends always laugh at me. I could get smacked up side the head and I would say sorry, or thank-you.
