A question about Bluetooth?

I have a mobile that has bluetooth, can it transfer data to my computer even though my computer is dial up? Someone said you have to buy an adaptor but will it work with dial- up, i always thought bluetooth was to do with wireless and broadband, can anyone advise? Many thanks!!

Hi,

I asked about this in the group of business people that we belong to, and this was the answer I was given:

You need an adaptor as the mobile uses a different technology from Internet wireless technology (called YFI I believe). Bluetooth is totally different from Dial-up / Broadband technology.
