Wolverine,

I think I can relate to an extent as I have some relationship issues with my own father.

In my experience it's hard when people refuse to acknowledge your feelings.

If you do want to go to therapy there could be some options depending on where you live. Some hospitals provide free therapy, an Internet search might help you find that out. Or your doctor may be able to provide that information as well as other options.
No one has to know that you are looking into these things if you don't want them to. With that said is there anyone in your family or otherwise who may be willing to help you with transport if free therapy is an option you choose?

I come from a very combative family myself and it can very hard dealing with people who are closed minded and combative. I found I had to make the choice to go therapy (more than once) on my own with only the support of my doctor but after some anger management, CBT and a lot of hard work I am comfortable with and proud of who I am.

This is what helped me and I hope reading this may help you to know that you are not alone.
