Ive had one budgie some years ago who had depression, due to the conditions she had been kept in, lack of care, love and attention, no toys and in a very small cage, she came to me via a rescue place, my vet didnt give any medincine, it was a case of a better cage and lots of love from me and the other budgies that lived with me, after a couple of months she got better. Ive also had budgies who have grieved for lost mates.

When I worked at a rizy boarding facility some people brought in there dog that was on prozac.
