The Point! I remember watching that with my mom and dad when I was a little kid. It was one of the "specials" we always used to look forward to because well, back then they really were special.
That's some mighty strong self-restraint you've got there. I've spent an entire day linking to one Midnight Special after another, and even remember seeing a few of those moments as they were originally aired in the '70s. If you get a chance, Labelle doing "Lady Marmalade" and Guess Who with "American Woman" are two of my favourites from the Midnight Special. Wow. Where did they get that energy? (No, don't tell me. I want to remember my innocent youth without having my bubble burst at age 46.)
Geeez. You can call me Einstein. I have actually been able to add a URL successfully before. @*!?@$#*! Ugh
Well it was for Mr.Bojangles. If you want to fix that for me it would be greatly appreciated.
Can you just feel the energy in that performance? I mean, I know the studio lights onstage are very hot, but all that sweat rolling off Burton Cummings is more than a warm stage -- those dudes were ROCKING HARD.
Ain't nuthin better than watching a live show (even if it's on tape.)
