Hi everyone not sure if I should be on here but I will tell you about myself.

Well about my son really. Ryan is now 30 and has Schitzo affective disorder and funny enough was home here with us today on a few hours out of the hospital here in London.

He has been ill for 10 years now and its a long and desperate story and how the Mental Health System has let him down.

I have to go out now but if I am allowed I will finish the story tomorrow and perhaps someone will be able to help or at least give me some advice.

Ryan has now been in Hospital for 6 weeks but is being discharged into the community tomorrow. They have been administering Clozapine as a last resort medication. Well when I say last resort I mean because they tried everything else!

I really do blame them for his worsening condition, mainly because when he was on Dipixol injection he recovered quite well. Attended college and did some voluntary work but in their wisdom they decided to stop the medication.

This caused Ryan to relapse but no matter how much i protested they wouldn't section Ryan until he was in such a bad way they had no other choice.

Now wouldn't you think the Mental Health team would know the consequences of stopping anti phsychotic medication?
Wouldn't you think, knowing his history, the would see him declining and promplty get him back on medication?

Ryan should sue them!!
