What will happen if I ever need to call 911?

The form of response depends on the services provided in your area. 911 operators are trained to dispatch the kind of emergency service appropriate for the call.

What's important is that people who are interested in helping people would be dispatched to help you in your emergency.

Have you ever contacted or do you have the number of the crisis center in your area?

These people are trained to assist you in your time of crisis and to point you in the right direction in the area in which you live.

Can you get a close trusted friend of relative to drive you to the mental health emergency facility close to you?

Another option is to ask a trusted friend of relative to stay with you to help keep you safe until you can make arrangements to see a mental health professional.

The key is to figure out a way to keep yourself safe until you can get help to see things a bit more clearly.

Calling 911 is a good idea if you need it,they will take you to the nearest hospital, where you will be seen right away by the appropriate doctors. Most large hospitals have a mental health unit and you will be well taken care of.

Please don't hesitate to ask for help,it is available for you.
