Whatever you do, or dream you can do, begin it.
Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.

We are not powerless specks of dust drifting around in the wind,
blown by random destiny.

We are, each of us, like beautiful snowflakes;
unique, and born for a specific reason and purpose.

Re: Quotable Quotes

However long the night, the dawn will break.
-African proverb

If only we loved ourselves as unconditionally as we do those around us, with acceptance, with a sense of humor, with forgiveness of the past and hope for the future, with respect and appreciation for what is rather than frustration and sorrow for what is not.

Re: Quotable Quotes

"I will get through this." My mantra, my manna, if I can say nothing else, believe nothing else, let these words carry me through tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow.

Oh, tears, is there anything more painful or joyful, more saddening or cleansing? Oh, tears, my little carriers of the soul, my enemies, my friends, whatever would I do without you?

Re: Quotable Quotes

This is one from my mom when I was growing up, I'm not sure where it came from:

"I cried because I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet"

Mom was always trying to teach us to be happy with what we had, no pitty parties (though only natural at times) And to look around us as someone always has it worse then we do.

Another one was,
"Can't never could"

Have enough courage to trust love one more time. And always one more time.
--Maya Angelou

We spend precious hours fearing the inevitable. It would be wise to use that time adoring our families, cherishing our friends, and living our lives.

Courage is more exhilarating than fear, and in the long run it is easier. We do not have to become heroes overnight. Just a step at a time, meeting each thing that comes up, seeing it is not as dreadful as it appeared, discovering we have the strength to stare it down.
~ Eleanor Roosevelt
