Yep, but there also lies a BIG problem I remember too well from being sole proprietor and sole employee personally...

When ya messes up... you can’t say it was someone else’s fault. :panic:

i.e. sources of job security that also make you want to quit :D

8 Years till retirement... 3 if my insurance company makes me apply for early Canada Pension. No idea how that works but I’m guessing since they will want to reduce my monthly payments 3 years to go.

1 - Went to wallyworld as planned for my b-day treat

2 - Found what I was looking for...
And after having 2 bowls of it I was convinced beyond a doubt this stuff is rich and chocolatey... only way to get more rich and chocolatey than that would be to get 2 and since my goal was to get a pail (normally 4L) and this was only 2L I solved the problem mathematically and I simply got 2 (the last 2 BTW, all the way back in the freezer)

3 - As I had previously mentioned I was not going to look at the price and simply get me some of the real good stuff... (no cheap no name or bland ice milk stuff)

BONUS:
Well Happy Birthday you bargain loving SOB! Low and behold they were on sale for $4.97 each
So even though I wasn't going to let the price have any influence on my purchase, I still managed to get the stuff on sale :D

Ice cream is also great for unexpected guests. And if they don't like ice cream, they should be asked to leave :D

Can't share THIS ice cream... it's for medicinal purposes... for my gums and for it's anti-depressive side effects....

They say you're not supposed to share your medications with others :D

It also showed me (in only a few hours) that my chest freezer is way too cold! Poor spoon had a hell of a time trying to get any out. Was about ready to get the power tools out. And since we're on the subject... it's almost 5am... would that be considered brain freeze as a really late, late night snack or really early happy meal for breakfast?

This is one of the great benefits of living alone... no one to wake up and say: "What the heck are you doing up and eating ice cream at this time of night/morning? :coffee:

Excellent point. And don't forget they also say you must finish your course of medication. You can't just stop because you're feeling better. You have to take it until it's all gone. :)

I thought I had responded to Dr. B’s post.
oh well...

1 - Will be needing that ice cream starting Monday so definitely no sharing.

2 - Monday should be last major fillings and extraction. The rest if the work is technically less “invasive”

3 - Bud is coming over today and since Dentist took pity on me and didn’t yank my molar today (whatever works is fine with me) we’ll be going for lunch either McLaxatives or maybe A&W haven’t been there in forever.

Bonus: pretty sure my gift he be bringing is the carton of smokes I asked for. The FINAL ONE. The day where I can say I smoked my last cigarette is drawing closer. Anywhere from 2 to 6 months since I’m barely smoking anymore but having tailor mades might go a little faster than the rollies i normally have once in a while. Still have tobacco and going to try and keep at least one pack of real ones for the end.

5 - Rescheduled psychiatrist from next Thursday... no opening before Nov 21 (oh so sad lol)

6 - Then rescheduled internal specialist since was rebooked to nov 14 and won’t have seen psychiatrist she referred me to. So I see her Dec 5th.

1. At least now no one can call me "young lady" in a condescending tone now that I'm old. They'll have to come up with some other descriptor.
2. Bought a thing yesterday so I won't have to keep using a messy/annoying workaround.
3. Placeholder. I'm sure the day won't totally suck.

I'll have to think of a name for my doomed little palm tree.
The last thing I want to do is decide where we're going for the afternoon and for dinner. :sigh:
