Yeah the reality would be a lot further from 'isolated cabin in the woods' and not having a car would be an unfortunate extra talking point for people who are just being friendly. I'll probably just stick with spending a couple of hours in a not-too-busy park.

  1. Finally dealing with a task I've been avoiding due to having to interact with people. 1st job done = ask the person what exactly they wanted and how they want to do it.
  2. When I go talk to the next person I can maybe see one of my first bosses. She'll probably have some smartass comments about what I'm asking which will be funny.
  3. Tonight I'll get to watch another episode of the show I'm watching with mum.

1. Dogs got to play with friend's dog.

2. For the first time, made an enchilada-style veggie burrito in the convection oven. Tasted as good as a restaurant and took only minutes to prepare.

3. Installed misters for ourselves so we can stay cool outside. (since it worked so well for the chickens :))

BONUS: Iced tea made with Splenda.

  1. It's really cold in the office but at least I have attempted to change the air con setting to heat (not sure if I got the right symbol) and have a cup of tea to warm my hands up.
  2. We have an optional meeting this afternoon which unless anything changes I'll be going to so I can get away from my desk.
  3. I'm deciding how I want to respond to a new policy at work that has one line in it which seems overly restrictive. I think I understand the intent but I would like to understand more (without jumping to the conclusion that they're complete power hungry idiots) given that I see more irritation than benefits from this line in the policy.

Bonus: I must have found the right air con setting on my 2nd attempt because it's feeling a bit warmer. I think my first attempt just changed it from cold to cold haha.

  1. It's warm in the office this morning.
  2. The computer thing I had running at work after I left successfully finished and I found the file, despite the UI giving me an error (probably because it timed out so long afterwards).
  3. Even if my therapist doesn't reply today or this week (or even for the rest of this month) to schedule in a session, at least I can be confident that it's not anything to do with the thing I sent because he wouldn't have had time to read it.

1. Half way done with master's degree.
2. My master's research topic was approved.
3. Husband got me an Impossible Whopper on his way home.

  1. Made it through most of the work day before realising that I'm tired enough to think that a stress ball would make a good pillow.
  2. Had waffles and a classic type of crackers (biscuits) - Arnotts Shapes.
  3. Got plenty of work to do, if only I was concentrating on it to do it.

They did really well on the vegemite shapes actually, they taste great and didn't become overpowering with the vegemite flavour at all. Those familiar with the taste can pick it up, but I was with someone who doesn't like vegemite when they tried a couple and they couldn't tell what the flavour was.

I actually had a good Vegemite experience today. I bought some a month ago from a third-party seller on Amazon. Using butter and a really grainy bread helped. I already knew about the importance of butter.

I mostly got it since it is an ingredient in a homemade veggie burger recipe. But I haven't used it yet for that purpose.

1. Chihuahua has almost zero anxiety during car rides now.

2. For months now, all of the dogs (except the chihuahua) have been calm enough to get their nails trimmed at home.

3. Salad bars :)

1.) Having fun (drawing, writing, reading FanFic) and sort of getting better about generally feeling guilty for having fun...

2.) Getting lazier - I MEAN - more relaxed and also not feeling as guilty about not doing something productive.

3.) I’m also feeling, I don’t know, like my art doesn’t have to be so important as to be a journaling tool, therapeutic, etc... Ya know, TOO serious. Because, in a way, fun IS important and therapeutic.

3.5.) Why the heck am I so damned uptight??? lol I don’t remember this stick getting shoved up my butt, but that’s sure what I act like toward myself and not toward everyone else. I have an appointment in about a month with a Psychologist who, get this, is an ADHD SPECIALIST! *woot*
