Re: 3 Positive Things Part 5

  1. Didn't have to spend much time at my desk today.
  2. Didn't get caught in the rain.
  3. Saw this little fella before running into him:

That attachment didn't work for some reason. What little fella was it? Child? Lizard? Magpie? Wallabee? Your new boss? :shock4:

LOL. Well I used to buy 40s and before that a dozen whole donuts but however many I buy they're gone in a day. I don't have much control when it comes to Timbits.

So now, to avoid bloating and feeling nauseous, I use portion control. :D

But let's face it... the 10-pack is never gonna be enough. That's just teasing.

I don't get them very often anymore but that and coffee (preferably not the swill Horton's calls coffee) is my treat after one of those fasting tests or a colonoscopy. :)

Whoops, it looked like it was working straight after I posted but clearly didn't after reloading the page.
It was a small snake.

Re: 3 Positive Things Part 5

1. Felt like I was in an old Western due to a few tumbleweeds in a valley town.

2. No snake sightings.

3. Memory foam mattresses.

Re: 3 Positive Things Part 5

BONUS: The local fire department collects unwanted items (since they have lots of storage space) and donated to my husband a like-new power lift recliner that lets him get up without back pain. (Apparently no one else wanted it since it was there for a while. We got a neighbor to help us move it.)

Re: 3 Positive Things Part 5

  1. Thing with the boss went alright.
  2. Got a long work task ready for its next step. It had taken me forever to get it done.
  3. Remembered to take the garbage out tonight and I took the neighbour's bin out too cause they have moved out, wouldn't be returning for the bin, it was completely full and stinky, and no new tenant deserves to move in just to have that to contend with.

Re: 3 Positive Things Part 5

1.) Finally! Got to see the credit counselor today! Had a very mild, very short panic attack, lifted quickly. Very helpful woman. We have some homework to do, and I’m happy we’re moving forward with this!

2.) Had a really bad argument with my husband the other day. Had walked out mid-argument because of shock/unexpected hostility. Did some groceries, came back. David was really remorseful. I know he’s under a lot of stress. He says he was frustrated but he shouldn’t have taken it out on me! Things are back to normal now. He’s been having more outbursts lately because we’ve been more open and honest with each other. I love that he DOES have the ability to remain calm and non-confrontational more of the time. Today was a MUCH better day together. YAY for Team David & Holly!

3.) My dog, Douglas, loves to make sure we’re both okay after a disagreement/crying/shouting! Then he wants to play or brings us the ball. He’s such a sweet doggo!

  1. Free food for someone's retirement party.
  2. Only 50mins until lunch.
  3. I'm not the only one who thinks some emails yesterday were ridiculous.

Re: 3 Positive Things Part 5

1. Got a thank-you e-mail from my therapist (for the thank-you card I sent her -- it had a 3D printed butterfly).

2. Still enjoying the Instant Pot. Cooked fresh green beans, and they were nice and tender. Even the dogs liked them more than canned green beans.

3. Chicken coop #4 is half-way done (to give even more room to our chickens -- and makes it easier to heavily mist the area in a heat wave without flooding the ground).

I'm still enjoying seeing the phrase "instant pot". Sorta like Cup-A-Soup or ramen noodles for hippies. :D

I want to know how long it takes them to start singing Misty :)
