BONUS #2: My mother is taking me to Greece next year. Tentative plan: Going to fly to somewhere in Europe where I will meet her there. That alone is exciting since I have never been that far from the U.S. Then we will both go on a cruise to the Greek Islands.

BONUS #3: Had Mexican stir fry for the first time today. It is like making fajitas but you use rice instead of tortilla pads.

1. Change blindness: Our dogs (like us) didn't notice a side gate has been open for the last two days or so. So the chihuahua -- our "runner" -- missed his opportunity to escape.

2. Cooler today.

3. Motivated to keep house decluttered. I basically do not even bring mail inside anymore unless it needs to be scanned.

1.) I’m learning patience. I thought I was really patient. But I’m learning more patience. lol And we’re moving forward toward our goals re: finances.

2.) David is barely on World of Warcraft lately. He said he’ll quit again, as it seems to take up more time than he’d like. He seems to understand that I need him to be “present” instead of just present... Like, engaged or willing to engage with the environment, being available when I need him (like it’s nice he’s not in the middle of a game when I need some help).

3.) It’s hard to believe it’s April! It feels like summer! I’ve been given time off from work until June! I am going to use some palettes to make a raised garden bed! [emoji2]

BONUS: Got a workout catching chickens to move them to the newly-completed, bigger "luxury" coop that has tons of shade for the summer. (My redneck husband was able to catch 3 chickens at a time, but he humored me and let me catch most of the chickens on my own.)

Re: 3 Positive Things Part 5

I took it quite generally but there is more:

:D Some breeds are easier to catch than others. The leghorn chickens, like the one above/below, are the hardest to catch.

You can use a rod to pick up chickens by their legs, but I like to give them some exercise too :)

1 - made it out of bed and to the shower this morning in spite of a bad night sleep. Kept waking up.

2 - Checked oil levels (all good) and checked and lowered tire pressure (was high from the big increase in temperature) before heading to Winnipeg to see doc

-1 blood pressure 90/60 pulse 60. Not good

3 - wanted to see me in 4 weeks managed to come see him May 28 since I come for my way overdue ABI test and vascular specialist that afternoon.

its hot off to get my meds now.

  1. It's Friday.
  2. I'm going to ask someone for a ride part of the way home so I don't have to wait for the bus.
  3. I think I have a plan for booking my next therapy session and emailing the homework, while avoiding the thought-labyrinth that I've generated around the issue.
