What’s wrong with raisins? Even I like raisins! Raisin Bran my favorite cereal

Re: 3 Positive Things Part 5

Shame. Raisins are excellent in many cookies, bars, and quick breads, not to mention cereals and oatmeal.
I've just never been a fan of them. But I think I'm gradually becoming more tolerant of them so maybe give me another 10 years and check back in then. :coffee:

Otter = accurate. :lol:

Actually I don't think I've ever had an "oatmeal cookie". People default to Anzac biscuits (which from my understanding are essentially oatmeal cookies using golden syrup), and Anzac biscuits should never ever ever have raisins or choc chips or anything else added to them. But of course, my mum makes a weird version which has stuff added... probably including raisins. She's a New Zealander. They do things strangely down there.

Got out of house
ate some lunch
more sadness then anxiety today

Hey forgetmenot! Glad you got out of the house and treated yourself (that is if you went out for lunch instead of eating at home once you got back to the house)...

Is the sadness easier to deal with than the anxiety? *thinking, geez, if it was me, I’d prefer sadness over anxiety, so I hope that wasn’t a stupid or insensitive question on my part*

You sound like you could use a few hugs: *huggles*

Sorry about that! [emoji15] I won’t send so many at once again. On the other hand, of each of those pictures were in a separate post, that would use up more GB, I think.

Does this mean I have to have limits on cute things I send to people to make them laugh?

[emoji24][emoji24][emoji24][emoji24]

I will try to think before I do that next time. So I can tell myself not to do that. Bad, Holly (me), BAD! *slaps wrist*

lol Oh sure, it’s fine to have SYRUP in your cookies! Raisins and chocolate chips are sweet too! And May even be marginally healthier than syrup! lol Is “Golden Syrup” the same as “Corn Syrup?”

Haha! No worries but it was funny that I usually have my cell on cell data so if I'm downloading something on the computer I can actually get emails and I hate paying for cell data and not using much of it. Anyway to update my Iphone to IOS 12.2.3 I had to connect to my wireless and so since I set it to update overnight it was still on wireless. I just took advantage of the situation to slightly blow it of of proportion and said "Ho11y Bat Crap Batman" she really went OCD on that post

I love Lyle’s Golden Syrup. It originated in Britain. Much thicker and sweeter than corn syrup or maple syrup. I used to love it on bread or toast, or on oatmeal, or as a topping on various desserts like pound cake or thick puddings like treacle pudding ice cream.

Golden syrup or light treacle is a thick amber-coloured form of inverted sugar syrup made in the process of refining sugar cane or sugar beet juice into sugar, or by treatment of a sugar solution with acid. It is used in a variety of baking recipes and desserts. ~ Wikipedia

I'm also glad I wasn't on my mobile data loading that page  I have an embarrassingly low 1.5GB/month plan that I keep procrastinating on increasing. I could easily get a 4GB at the same price, or a 10GB for a bit more, if I just put a couple of hours into researching and action. So if it catches me out then at least it will be another prompt to get a move on. ;)

I've never had corn syrup so you can trust David's comparison better than mine  All I know is that golden syrup looks darker.

Not insensitive at all. I don't know what is easier really sadness just bubbles up and i try to use anger to keep it away. Anxiety i cannot seem to get it under control it just escalates so fast sometimes and the fear comes i think because i cannot get that control back i just can't. so i guess sadness for me is sometimes better then anxiety.

Not sure if it was OCD. Probably my hyperfocusing. I can meme the heck out of a conversation.

I showed the progression from “When oatmeal raisin cookies pretend to be chocolate chip & that’s why I have trust issues” to “When raisin cookies pretend to be chocolate cookies” to “raisin cookies are why I have trust issues...” And then it moved into pictures of celebrities/paintings/movie clips and then into the animals and ended with the Barbie doll raisins in the Barbie doll toilet.
