Re: 3 Positive Things Part 6

1. Went to work despite not wanting to.
2. Rode my bike, rode around (rather than through) the two mud puddles, and no scary incidents with close-passing trucks or cars.
3. Got some nice feedback on a thing at work.

Re: 3 Positive Things Part 6

1. Bought the things I went out to get.
2. Tried playing a guitar in the music store, although it wasn't the one I was hoping to try.
3. The weather is a bit cooler today.

BONUS: Getting "baby therapy" since I am with my 3-month-old step granddaughter for a week.

Re: 3 Positive Things Part 6

1. It took me almost 2 hours, but I have provided some constructive feedback (non anonymous) about my previous team lead via our new work feedback system, at the request of my manager. I think I worded it quite well and stand by what I wrote.
2. Feeling less sad today so far.
3. Played quite a bit of keyboard over the weekend... Including 2am last night when I couldn't get back to sleep, thanks to headphones.

Re: 3 Positive Things Part 6

1. Someone in my cubicle at work smells bad (the "vegetarian or clean-eating" type of bad smell... Like how diet affects body odor, and some diets are very obvious when they're different from the majority that you're used to). Positive is that this is the first day I've noticed it as a continual thing, I only have to smell it at work, and he left his desk for a few minutes so there was a break.
2. I remembered to bring my noise cancelling headphones today.
3. Found a useful document that I'd lost on the computer.

Re: 3 Positive Things Part 6

1. Started the day with over 100 emails of people replying all to a global distribution list. I love stuff like this where people are either not thinking or getting frustrated and just keep replying ;)
2. I started a search on the network drive for a document when I left work yesterday, and it found it.
3. I slept better last night.

Re: 3 Positive Things Part 6

Bonus: Colleague smells normal today. I'd brought some natural deodorant to spray under my desk (so I'd smell that rather than him) just in case. Brief whiff of the smell when he first arrived but otherwise nothing. Phew!

Re: 3 Positive Things Part 6

I guess at least coffee smells better than that, but I still find the smell of coffee kind of gross :p

Re: 3 Positive Things Part 6

Do you have a different caffeinated beverage of choice like tea? Or do you prefer a lemony cucumber water? :coffee:

Re: 3 Positive Things Part 6

They also sell a chest patch now for Vicks (VapoPatch). Not very professional looking but would help for calling in sick the next day :D

Re: 3 Positive Things Part 6

Haha yeah the talk of coffee made me realise that I'd have been better off brining in vicks than the deodorant ;) I've got a little jar of it at home.

Beverage of choice is milo in full cream milk ;) But I'll drink tea (hot for warming up, or cold for general use), no milk, no sugar... Unless it's bubble tea which has a lot of milk and some sugar.
