1. Online medical records. Works great when you forget to bring your paper medical records to your doctor.

2. Dog is doing so well on the new medicine. She is acting like a 4 year old instead of a senior dog.

3. Found a cheaper compounding pharmacy for the dog's refills. It's a local Catholic pharmacy that charges almost half the cost.

1. Dinner was improved with hotsauce.
2. Made some biscuits (cookies).
3. Checked the kitchen just before bed and realised that I hadn't taken the biscuits off the tray. Put them in a container.

You can get them at Dollar General ;)

I love pickled beets too, and they were interesting on a burger. I think I will try grated beets next time for a burger, though -- and will definitely try grilled pineapple.

I also like beet juice :) I even juiced beets a couple times, but it was a huge mess, especially since beets can stain.

And, with all the eggs I have, I did try a fried egg on a veggie burger already.

I did have pickled beetroot on my burgers last time I made them, and still have some in the fridge I need to use up. As a kid I never would have tolerated it but at one point I realised that my tastes had changed.

I don't normally have pineapple on burgers, but have tried it and it's pretty good when I'm in the mood for it. Nor do I normally have an egg - it tends to be a bit slippery/messy and I'm messy enough when eating burgers to begin with - but it's not bad.

However my actual dinner last night was chicken (sorry Daniel's chickens) with rice and boiled frozen veges (mainly green beans and peas and a very, very tiny bit of broccoli based on what came out of the packet). Plus hotsauce.

1. Improved my mood by listening to nightcore punk pop remixes.
2. Finished the bit of work I was planning on doing this weekend.
3. Seems like pretty good weather outside.

BONUS: Still have a very good memory of a dream I had over a week ago. It was one of the most insightful/psychodynamic dreams I have had. We were selling our home, and, in the process of me showing the house to buyers, I noticed there was an extra room I never saw before. Then I found more and more rooms this way. And when I would go back to a room I just found, I would find even more rooms. So I had been living in a well-furnished mansion for years but did not know it.

"It turns out that dreams about finding extra rooms in your house are surprisingly common...As illusory as these dreams are, they provide us with a feeling most of us can't quite achieve in our waking lives: the feeling of already having as much as we need." More room? In your dreams

I actually watch a lot of horror/thriller/sci-fi films - just not the teenage slasher ones which are just dumb and way too predictable.

I like spooky atmospheric movies. A few jump scares here and there is all right but some of the really good ones don't even have those.

1. Learned a lot about spleens over the weekend.

2. As usual, Amazon refunded me within hours of dropping off my returns at UPS.

3. Saved 47 percent on groceries at Safeway.

BONUS: Vet gave me his cell phone number. Hopefully will never need it.
