After your best-selling book on the psychology of poultry, I am surprised you need more fame and riches.

1. I have an online training this week which runs for most of the day.

2. Although I've had to dispose of 5 individual ants in the last 30mins, and about 7 individual ants before lunch, I think I've identified their main path onto the meeting room desk and will try to wipe it away at the next break. Just had a 6th while writing this but I'm not super annoyed.

3. I had a piece of banana bread this morning.

Those little canned ant traps do work quite well. The ants take it back to the nest so it wipes out the whole nest. There are several brands but I like the almost closed little cans, something like this:

I haven't been ant-poison shopping in awhile. I briefly considered it but it's not my job to de-ant the meeting room... However given that I'll be in here for the rest of the week it might be worthwhile. The start will be to disinfectant along the ethernet cable that they're crawling on.
Total of 12 since lunch time, and I've just been trying to wiggle the cable to send them back before they get on the desk. Little shits.

1. Early Christmas: My mother got me an Amazon Echo Show for Christmas during Black Friday. So now I can video chat with her easily since I then got her the same thing. My husband bought me an Amazon Echo Auto on Black Friday (which I will set up soon).

2. Music sounds great on the Echo Show, including the bass.

3. For the sake of novelty, went to a "real restaurant" for takeout instead of Taco Bell. It made me appreciate Taco Bell even more :)

It cracks me up every time I see “ant-poison shopping” ha ha!

Like normally it’s on your weekly shopping list along with Vegemite, Milo, gecko treats, and I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. :D

I would use Amazon's Subscribe & Save to save time :D I use it for dog food but not cat food since the cats are so picky and fickle.

Haha ;)
A much better result today. I left the ant cable on the floor and used a different one. Only one ant and one fruit fly.

Dang fruit flies. How much fruit did it get this time?

I hate it when I see my bananas or blueberries flying off apparently by themselves.

I'm like, stupid fruit flies. You can't even see them but there goes breakfast. :panic:

  1. After a week of riding with my old bike helmet to see if it affected the frequency of crow incidents, I swapped back to my new one today and still didn't have any problems. Maybe the crow has moved on.
  2. Tried having a coffee today. I still don't like coffee. I only got 1/3 of the way through it over the space of about an hour. After awhile an ant crawled into the cup and started eating the milk foam.
  3. Despite my coffee failure, I wasn't quite as tired post-lunch today compared to yesterday.

  1. Still no crow.
  2. Having a bottle of coke definitely helped me to not feel tired during the training.
  3. Maybe I'll get a bit more sleep tonight.
