1. Successful ride to work and wash-up in the sink since I no longer have access to the showers at work.
2. Found an outdoor tap in case I get muddy one morning and decide it's better to hose myself off.
3. Because of our building's restricted movement, I'll get to practice overcoming my occasional pee-shyness in the small bathroom. Hopefully the reduced number of people in the building will avoid triggering it though.

1. Glad I stayed home from work today. Other than the sore throat I was feeling good this morning but it's 10:30am now and I could do with a nap. I'm going to wait and see if we do anything online for the team meeting at 11, and if not I'll lay down for a bit. Hopefully resting will help me recover quicker.
2. The nearby piledriving has stopped, people have stopped doing maintenance stuff nearby, so it's just traffic noise now.
3. I almost would've been able to ride my bike to work 3 days this week (and home once on the same day as a ride-in, twice on separate days) if it weren't for getting sick. It would almost be back to a semi-normal thing other than the lack of shower facilities now. I just have to stay on top of doing foam rolling for my IT band.

Neither did I before seeing the physio however long ago. Foam rolling is a muscle recovery and stretching thing, where you get a foam cylinder (diameter a bit smaller than the average adult handspan), lay the part of the body on it and slowly roll back and forth. Apparently it's something that lots of people do after exercise these days.

The IT band runs down the outside of the thigh and if it's tight it can pull on the kneecap and make things painful for repetitive motion (which seems to be the case for me, but initially I had 2 problems so when I was only trying to address this one it didn't help).

1. Stayed home again today, with the main decision trigger being social responsibility to not spread my germs even though I'm sure it's just a cold.
2. It's a warm day. Too warm without the fan, but a bit too cool with it... However at least I can control the temperature easily unlike at the office.
3. Last night I managed to buy some stuff that I hadn't seen at the shops for awhile. (And sanitised my hands on entry so shouldn't have spread anything.) I even saw toilet paper(!!!) although didn't need to buy any. I made my old-gooblax's-tale-cold-busting spinach stirfry with garlic, ginger and lemon in chili-infused olive oil. It's a good check to see how well my sense of taste is still working even if it does nothing else

1. Watching the movie 2001 as background music.

2. Cats love the catnip spray I bought as much as catnip leaves -- but with zero mess.

3. Lexapro :chill: :)

1. Someone didn't show for one of the practice calls so I only had to do one today rather than two. Only one more tomorrow then hopefully no one will contact me to do another and I can be done with it.
2. I probably shouldn't be using nasal spray that expired 6 years ago but if it helps it helps. Hopefully the urge to cough will get lost.
3. Spent an hour playing a computer game that I hadn't touched in almost a year.

1. DONE with my last practice call.
2. Slept til 4:30 with no wakeups for coughing etc. which is better than I thought would happen.
3. Not feeling too bad today.

BONUS: Found the chichiwawa before he could escape to the neighbor's property again. (He took no time finding a new gap in the fence, so I am going to put a bluetooth pet tracker on him -- that I already have -- now that he is bigger.)

1. Chinese take out.

2. Was the only student in the online class today, so I paid more attention than usual and got very personalized attention/feedback.

3. The quail in our area that we feed daily (since they were small) are fully grown now.

BONUS: Since baker's yeast is still sold out at the stores, neighbor is giving us some in exchange for eggs.
